CBS 11 News has learned that another sex club has been operating in a North Texas neighborhood and nearby homeowners want it to stop. The street is Cordova Lane in McKinney and sources tell CBS 11 News that La Maison Joue is a so-called "swingers" club that, until recently, met at a hotel in Dallas.

"It's a sex club. People meet, flirt, erotic talk. Some people are into voyeurism. They just go there to watch other couples," according to a source who does not want to be identified.

In recent months a swingers club called "The Cherry Pit" has been scrutinized by police, city officials and neighbors in Duncanville. The organizer of the club in McKinney says she has nothing to do with the Cherry Pit.

Elizabeth Grilley denies operating a sex club, but admits adults meet to have "consensual" relationships in the home on Cordova Lane. Earlier this month the Executive Director for Development Services for the City of McKinney advised Grilley she is violating city ordinances. Grilley would not consent to an on-camera interview, but over the telephone she stated, "We aren't anything like the Cherry Pit."

CBS 11 News photographed more than 30 people arriving at a recent party at the house on Cordova Lane. "Some husbands want to watch their wives be with another woman," says our source.

Cordova Lane is a quiet residential street where children ride bicycles and parents proudly display high school athletic signs. Robert and Toni Miracle have two daughters and live across the street from the house where the gatherings take place. "I don't want them in my neighborhood. I don't want any accidental exposure or anything that would put my children at risk of seeing something."

Steven Rogan and his wife also live across the street and say they noticed dozens of cars parked on their street on the weekends, but didn't know what was going on inside. "I've got a young child. I don't want it near my house," says Steven Rogan.

McKinney Police and city officials met with Grilley on June 16 and again on June 21. Following those meetings, the city issued a letter to Grilley informing her that the club would be violating a city ordinance by meeting in a single family dwelling. According to city officials, Grilley has agreed not to have any more parties at the house. This week the club shut down its Web site and a moving truck was seen moving furnishings out of the residence.

Prior to the Web site's removal, La Maison Joue boasted a "discreet adult social club" that included parties, play rooms, nudity and risqué behavior. Members are screened before they are allowed to enter the Web site, but pictures of several empty rooms were displayed. One room had a number of beds with sheets and no furnishings on the walls. Another picture said the room contained a sex swing.

"A lot of couples, this is their weekend night life. This is what they do, then during the week they're the banker; they're the PTA mom; they're the soccer mom," said the source.

"Most of the bedrooms have two beds in them so they're kind of made to be shared," said the source. "There could be at times three, four couples in a room having sex together, having sex separately."

On July 25, a posting on the Web site said a pool party scheduled to take place August 1 had been cancelled: "We will be closing membership to the group and being very selective on who is asked to come to parties with the recent events of the Cherry Pit this past Saturday. We want to protect the group and its members." The website also stated: "Anyone have a house and pool that would like to volunteer their place???"

Sources say La Maison Joue charges single men $40 to attend weekend parties, couples get in the door for $30 and single women don't have to pay. Grilley says partygoers are not required to pay.

"Women are free because, face it, without the women, there is no party," says the source.

Grilley rented the house on Cordova Lane, according to McKinney Police. La Maison Joue is vowing to continue its parties at new locations.
